Community Game Nights
Community Game Nights are offered on Wednesday evenings starting the first Sunday of June and continuing until Thanksgiving. Young and old, families and singles are invited to come together for food, fellowship, and fun.
Fair Trade Store
A Fair Trade Store makes coffees, teas, chocolates, dried fruits, and other items from foreign farmers available to the community. There is no increase in cost for these items as this is not a profit making store, but one that helps to provide a living wage to the farmers who help to fill it directly.
The Decatur County Food Pantry
The Decatur County Food Pantry support is offered by this congregation through in-gatherings of food, toiletries and cleaning supplies.

Lutheran World Relief Quilters
Lutheran World Relief Quilters usually meet on two Friday afternoons a month to piece and tie quilts for distribution in our community and around the world. They use donations of fabric, old mattress pads, sheets and blankets, to create new quilts to share. No sewing experience is required to be a helping hand in this group of dedicated stitchers! We also put together school kits and healthcare bundles to be distributed where needed through Lutheran World Relief.
Neighbor Helping Neighbor
Neighbor Helping Neighbor is a coordinated community effort to bring together volunteers and those who need their assistance with exterior home and yard maintenance projects. Usually scheduled in April and September, volunteers assist the elderly, disabled, or financially struggling community members with projects they have identified they cannot do on their own or with their own resources. Equipment is provided.
Options
Options is the areawide agency that assists victims of domestic violence. In-gatherings of supplies for the families to relocate are held during the year.
Bi-Annual Organ Concert
A bi-annual Organ Concert is held featuring the organist from Bethany College playing on our Reuter pipe organ. Bethany is an ELCA affiliated four-year college in Lindsborg, Kansas.
Local School Support
Local School Support is provided during the year as we gather school supplies or other requested educational tools or needed volunteers.
Special Offerings
Special Offerings are gathered to combat world hunger and provide disaster assistance.
The Lutheran Hunger Program
The Lutheran Hunger Program is also supported every Christmas as we provide opportunities to make purchases for those in developing countries from our Good Gifts Tree.
